Teddy Bear Breed Information

The hybrid Teddy Bear features a life-span of 12 to 16 years.

Origin
The Teddybear puppies will be the response to a few different designer breeds. The Teddy Bear could be a mixture of the Shih Tzu and also the Poodle (Shih Poo), the Bichon Frise and the Toy Poodle (Poochon) or Bichon Frise and also the Shiz Tzu (Zuchon). In some cases, the Teddy Bear is usually a mix of all three breeds. Designer breeds like the Teddy Bear happen to be bred both for their looks in addition to their allergy-friendly coats.

Size
The height and width of the Teddy Bear varies but usually the dog is small, weighing 12 to 14 pounds and measuring a maximum of 12 inches.

Grooming Needs
The Teddy Bear is often a low shedding breed using a soft and fluffy coat that resembles a toy. The Teddy Bear’s coat may be kept long or clipped in to a short “puppy cut.” The Teddy Bear needs frequent grooming in order to avoid their coat from becoming matted and tangled. They need daily brushing plus a regular bath.

Like all dogs, the Teddy Bear also needs basic grooming. Brush their teeth, clean their ears and trim their nails on a regular basis.

Character
The Teddy Bear is people-oriented, well-mannered and friendly.

Temperament
The temperament of the Teddy Bear depends on their breeding, but typically they’re affectionate and playful. The Teddy Bear is really a great family dog. They like to cuddle and love to play.

The Teddy Bear is outgoing and social. They get along with everyone including children, other pets as well as other dogs. Teddy Bears grow quite that come with their own families and want to be with them whenever possible. If left alone for too long, they are able to develop stress and anxiety.

Training Needs
The Shih Tzu, Poodle and Bichon Frise are intelligent breeds and naturally, so will be the Teddy Bear. The Teddy Bear is desperate to please and learn. The Teddy Bear is mostly easy to train; they are doing perfectly at picking up commands and tricks. However, like many smaller dogs, the Teddy Bear can be difficult to housebreak. Lots of praise and treats and a consistent routine will help them along.

Activity Level
The Teddy Bear is not a highly active dog. For their health the Teddy Bear needs a daily walk and some time either inside or outside to experience.

Zuchon Teddy Bear puppies for sale is a hybrid dog. The Zuchon requires grooming of their coat every few days to prevent matting. Some dogs will have a coat made up of three different colors. The series will be fast-paced and told primarily from Doc’s point of view, have a colorful cast of characters, and, if I have anything to do with it, funny. Due to their small size, it can be tempting to allow a Shih Tzu to have their own way. For example, this can either be due to financial hardship, or the addition to the family of a new baby who is allergic to dogs. Although Mixed Breeds are very hardy like many dogs, they can also be susceptible to the same genetic disorders as many purebreds. If breeds, which are prone to the same disorder, are bred together, the Mixed Breed result may be even more at risk for such a disorder than either of the parents. Sometimes seen in combination with skin allergies (see above), it may also be the result of a drug reaction, but most often has no identifiable underlying cause.
